Rise to the Challenge: The Lean Startup

Breakfast briefing | London | Thursday 22nd June 2017 | 8 - 11am

The UK banking market is unlike any other, with more 'challenger' banks in the application and launch phase than (m)any other market(s). With Brexit progressions indicating the retraction of some international banks from the UK space, this could leave a void for challenger banks to grasp market share. According to PWC, since 2010, 19 new retail and commercial banking licenses have been issued in the UK, and at least eight more were pending as at January 2017.

These new startups have the opportunity to launch with an agile framework, collaborating with an ecosystem of complimentary solutions to achieve scale rapidly. This breakfast briefing will explore four areas where challenger banks can outsource - from deposit raising, to security.

Who should attend?
This event is relevant for UK challenger banks - pre/post-Banking license application; and their advisors.
